Our Lady of Sorrows School Parents and Guardians Second Grade, Room 222,
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we begin this new year, 2026, I have important information to share with you. Ms.Caroline Dufner is no longer with Our Lady of Sorrows School. We wish her well in her future endeavors.
Your children have a new teacher they will be working with!
Mrs. Patricia Donoghue, a ten-year veteran of the Archdiocese of Newark, came to OLS this past year from Aquinas Academy in Livingston, highly recommended. A dedicated teacher who enjoys working with children, she is an experienced, certified teacher, with over ten years in the classroom, positively impacting students and engaging them in their academic success.
To facilitate a smooth transition, please talk to your children about how to give their full support and cooperation to Mrs. Donoghue. She was hired for Pre-K 4, and had a wonderful classroom rapport with the children in her Pre K-4 Class, but she understands our efforts to restructure staffing at this time and has happily agreed to give it a try: dedicate her talents for our second grade students in Room 222.
Mrs. Donoghue looks forward to working and collaborating closely with her second-grace partner, Mrs. Antunes, to create and deliver an engaging and appropriate curriculum in a classroom setting that is nurturing and demonstrates the positive and caring dynamic to encourage every child to be their best. Please encourage your children to work positively with her.
Mrs. Donoghue's email address is: pdonoghue@ourladyofsorrowsschool.org.
Please extend a very warm welcome to Mrs. Donoghue! May all our students and families enjoy a very blessed and happy new year in 2026!
Best regards,
Judy A. Foley
