As a consequence of the hard work of our parent volunteers during our four major sporting events each year, we are able to offer all sports at NO COST to our students or their families.
Volunteers are a big part of our sports program. As we don’t charge for participation we encourage all of our parents to take part in our events, and help us to continue our successful sports program. Volunteering at an OLS sports event is a fun way to become more involved in our community and to make friends among the other families who participate. In addition to our school parents, each year we have many alumni volunteer to help us with our events; giving back to the program which gave them their start in sport. We also have a number of alumni who return to our program as coaches or assistant coaches, encouraging others to follow in their footsteps and be a part of the great sports tradition at Sorrows. We appreciate all of our volunteers and realize that without them it simply would not be possible to have such a great Sports Program here at OLS.
